On Sunday afternoon, I joined AMVETS Post 2919 at The Waters in Columbia City for a flag raising ceremony honoring our country and the veterans who are residents of The Waters.
As a veteran, it was especially meaningful to stand alongside these fellow veterans and recognize their service. Our flag represents the freedoms they helped defend, and this gathering was an opportunity to express our gratitude.
Thank you to AMVETS Post 2919, the residents, and the staff at The Waters for bringing everyone together for this special afternoon.
